Intellectual Property & Copyright
All original compositions, arrangements, recordings, educational materials, graphics, branding, and website content provided through Ambis Music are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
Unless otherwise stated, all materials remain the property of Chris Lexow / Ambis Music.
Purchasing sheet music or educational materials grants the purchaser a limited license for personal or organizational use only.
Users may not:
- Reproduce materials beyond permitted educational use
- Redistribute digital files
- Upload purchased materials to public websites or shared drives
- Sell, share, or distribute unauthorized copies
- Claim authorship or ownership of Ambis Music works
Unauthorized duplication or distribution of copyrighted materials is prohibited.
Sheet Music Purchases
Sheet music purchased through Ambis Music is intended for use by the purchasing individual, school, organization, or ensemble in accordance with applicable copyright laws.
Some products may include digital downloads, printed materials, or print-on-demand fulfillment.
Product descriptions, instrumentation, grade levels, and durations are provided as accurately as possible, though minor variations may occur.
Digital Products
Digital products, downloadable materials, and electronic sheet music purchases are generally non-refundable once access or download has been provided.
If a customer experiences technical issues with a digital product, reasonable efforts will be made to provide assistance.
Customers are responsible for ensuring they purchase the correct edition, instrumentation, and format prior to completing their order.
Physical Products & Shipping
Physical products, including reeds and printed materials, are carefully prepared and packaged prior to shipment.
Physical products are typically processed and shipped within 2–5 business days unless otherwise noted on the product page. Shipping times after dispatch are estimates provided by the carrier and cannot be guaranteed.
Ambis Music is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or events outside reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of digital sheet music and handcrafted reed products, refunds and returns may be limited.
Refund requests for physical items may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
If a physical product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact Ambis Music within 14 days of delivery. Eligible issues will be reviewed for replacement or refund at our discretion.
Lesson Policies
Private lessons booked through Ambis Music are subject to scheduling availability.
Students are expected to arrive on time and prepared for lessons.
Reasonable efforts should be made to provide advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests.
Repeated missed lessons or excessive cancellations may result in limitations on future scheduling.
Lesson instruction is educational in nature, and individual progress may vary depending on practice habits, preparation, and participation.
